Changes required in Pak team

I give up. I don't see Pakistan as decent team with Malik given captaincy, and still insisting to play three fast bowlers instead of four and that's so unlike for Pakistan. Afridi should be dropped Malik should be dropped, not only captain, but also as a player too. He was chosen as alrounder, but hardly perfrom decent with both at the same time Rao should be dropped....seriously, Pakistan bowling attack kay naam pay dabba hai ..seriously, when we have better fast bowlers like Sohail Khan, Rauf, and more to come ....why Rao after all? i don't get ... Butt should be dropped too.... he only can perform against India..That's it. Misbah should be captain Pick new decent players Don't forget to play consistently four fast bowlers... Improve pitches and make little bouncy pitches for fast bowlers....Our batmen are useless even in flat track... If Misbah is declared as captain before Champion Trophy, then Pakistan might has chance to grab the series....Otherwise, continuing Malik as captain persisting with three fast bowlers instead of four even though useless Rao is one of em of three fast bowlers ... Why are you ridiculing THE RAW! ?? There's only one selection that I can see as being obviously stupid, about 3-4 borderline players who're clinging on to their places. Of course, this isnt a sign of a good team. Thats a given.

Just changing the captain is not going to result in overnight success. Some changes, however, can result in better performance. First and foremost, I think Afridi needs to either be let go for a while or to be made to bat at number 9 or 10 and not count him as a specialist bat. I know Pak think of and value him as some sort of a Warne in ODIs but they shouldn't make the mistake of counting him as an all rounder because he just isn't one. Heck, Tanvir's batting is more reliable than Afridi's. Secondly, if there really is no other decent fast bowler in Pak, then Sami should be brought back because even though he is crap, he is miles better than Rao etc. Misbah should bat higher up the order and maybe Akmal could be brought back as a specialist bat.

But Misbah will experience trouble from the beginning as captain.... trust me ...he is attacking captain...just based on his captaincy experience from domestic cricket...he was best not only batman, but as captain which brought early success on him ....I forsee Misbah as attacking captain... changing captain will make different because appointing Malik as captain was joke ...he never was captain material in the first place....the rest i mentioned above must be followed...I hope PCB is listening...

Injuries and suspensions have plagued the Pakistan team for a while mainly in the bowling department. But that's no excuse. Its their own doing. As a result, their bowling is very inexperienced and can be vulnerable at times. Pakistan seems to be going through a rebuilding phase in their bowling department. Shuffling openers like a deck of cards doesnt help either. In their batting department, they seem to be missing a couple of finishers down the order. While Misbah has done well, there needs to one more solid batsman at number six. The very fact that Afridi is coming in at number six tells a story. Pakistan are depending on their top order to fire and when it doesnt, they find themselves in trouble quite a few times.

Younis Khan should lead Pakistan PCB has obviously dig a hole for itself and is struggling to get out of it. After poor performance in the Asia cup they might make Lawson and couple of players the scapegoats. I think the real problem is that Malik isnt smart enough to be the skipper plus there is way too much pressure on the entire team to perform. Younis khan is the only person who has respect from the team , media , PCB and the people of pakistan. He should be the one leading Pak. I have never seen him lose his cool. He looks relaxed and has been consistent performer. PCB needs to give him full liberty from picking the right XI to selecting the support staff. Y Khan seems like a guy who is humble and knows this game far better than Malik & Misbah.

Only U 19 youngsters can save Pakistan cricket.... Coach can't... Senior players won't if they aren't given captaincy.... The only way is possible ... Drop Younis, Yousuf and Afridi as well....I agree dropping Younis and Yousuf is shock, but best for Pakistan Appoint Misbah a captain and let him select new players...Senior players like Younis and Yousuf will deliberately slow to push Pakistan in losing position because they aren't given the title of captaincy they wanted...trust me....they are big ego...Younis performs decent once, but the next you know he will play poor shot to give the wicket away....seen those before...can you believe Yousuf leaving the bat in the front let lbw out or either way to find a way to get run out....
