Originally starting from China/USA and now KuKuTV is doing same in India. Most of stories are same trash, but target audience probably like that fantasy stories. Templates like 1. Rich person pretending to be poor and marries a poor person, helps them secretly and suddenly reveals themselves at climax. 2. Rich person pretending to be poor goes to auction to stuns everyone. 3. Rich person pretending to be poor takes big company as their own company is bigger. Earlier there were Chinese/Korean microdrama like that, then American stories started popping up and now Indian ones.
