The Outsider
high court judges in india take vacations. They reduce the case load during that time but some judges will be on to hear the cases.all the judges dont take vacations at once. Amit is right. Courts basically shut down for 1.5 months in India during the summer. Most of the clerical staff etc. is on vacation. Link to comment
MalikBrother
It was obvious Akhtar ban will be lifted due to pressurized from public...I can't blame PCB....Anything is possible..Pakistan is corrupt country let alone PCB corrupt board even though for the first time, PCB was doing decent job and in return?....never mind...This is not looking good for Pakistan team especially Unity is very important...are we forsee unity with having Akhtar back? :nervous: With Akhtar coming back along Asif and Gul.....seems like AAG dream coming true...can Pakistan win Champion Trophy now? Pakistan team is much balanced and better team than Australia now.... Misbah wasn't captain today match....aarrrggh! ...That mean Malik will remain captain...That's crap:nervous: Link to comment
Guest dada_rocks
Off topic : I can never understand how courts in countries just go on ****ing vacations for months!! That too in face of backlog of pending cases , which runs in decades not years Link to comment
Guest dada_rocks
Pakistan is lala land.. every insitituion is subservient to miliatry be it army or parilament.. as it happens an ex army boss has created a mess and common sense morality dictates that mess be undone and judges restored but this will not go down well with army hence all kind of *****-footing is being done... Doesn't matter where army bosss is officially sititn in president house or not doesn't matter whether parliament is function or nor, army calls the shot....... Another thing I have noticed in any political talk show on pakistani tvs you will see couple of military general s and couple of judges chiming in .. wonder why Link to comment
Ram
Whats new? The block-buster soap opera that is Shoaib Akhtar continues to entertain and confound in equal measure. Even the most astute of mega serial directors couldnt have come up with a script as enthralling and unpredictable as Akhtar's life. This is a severe blow for Pakistan, not that they arent used this sort of stuff. Link to comment

Yes Shoaib will come back, do something noteworthy for a couple of matches, but will get back to usual routines of assaulting team mates or theatrically breaking down with injury in the middle of the match and all his usual antics. And we havent even talked about his drug-abuse and chucking allegations yet. Wherever Shoaib goes, there is this huge dark cloud of suspicion that hovers over him, all the time. And unfortunately, that is his legacy as a Pakistani cricketer. He will remembered more for off-field controversies, than for his on-field achievements. Link to comment

That's why i didn't want him to come back....:nervous: ...Without unity, Pakistan can't win...Take example of WC 03....There was two half party playing for Pakistan....one side for Wasim and second side for Waqar....Both admitted that they didn't even talk to eachother during WC 03...Lacking unity that cost the WC which could have been our :nervous: Link to comment

jf1gp_1
Just because he has an interim relief doesnt mean PCB has to pick him in playing XI. But if PCB were to pick him that would be the biggest cricketing joke. Link to comment
riya
Step 1 :He will make an impact in his come back game since it is easy for him to throw at the maximum speed .Then the usual injury dramas when he lose that freshness and pace . Then another come back for another series ,and contiue step 1 . And then happily chucked ever after in one test per series .Meanwhile the usual ban ,lift continues . Link to comment
King
Doesn't matter what the high court says but PCB can continue not to pick him. If PCB despite having banned him repeatedly picks him again then you know where's Pakistan cricket's heading. :eyedance: Link to comment

Their public wants to see Shoaib, Asif, Afridi etc. So they will continue to play no matter what. Link to comment
