Desi Cartman Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Im sick of looking for free sopcast/flash links to watch cricket online and since Steanta has given me Dhoka by not showing Ind- Lanka series I am wondering if my internet plan is good enough to watch cricket online! how much data is downloaded when we watch cricket online ? I have only 4gb a month ...is it worth paying some website or 4gb is just not enough ? The speed I get is usually around 300-600 kbps and once I have used 4 Gb then it drops to 125 ... I cant upgrade my plan since i will moving to US of A in a few months time and would not want to take another plan. Pleeej help .

Sachinism Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 i believe sopcast links run at about 25-30kb/s but im not 100% sure on this, maybe someone else can help
Gambit Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 If you use one of the sites I use, for an ODI(8 hours of cricket) you would download around 800 MB of data.
silv3rado Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 300 kbps= 300 kilo bits per second So just do the math. 300kbits/second x 1byte/8bits x 1kB/1000bytes x1mb/1000kBx 60sec/1min x 60min/1hour = 135 MB /hour
