Manucrick Posted June 19 Posted June 19 It won't be easy for us when we face nz i don't expect India to win any match
vvvslaxman Posted June 19 Posted June 19 53 partnership for 10th wicket so far. NZ has lost the plot much like ENgland did in the firs tinnings with ball

Usually on day 1 it behaves that way then it flattens out. We lost two tosses there last time. But last time we sucked in 2nd innings too. But in the previous tour when NZ batted first we shot them out for 192 and wemade 438 in reply. In the 2nd innings NZ was 92/5. Key reason at 78/3 this happened 28.1 • Shami to McCullum, no run dropped at silly mid-on! Kohli, that was a relatively easy one! It was fullish and McCullum went through with a drive even though he wasn't to the pitch of it. It went to the left of Kohli but he snatched at it with his left hand and doesn't hold on. Came a lot slower than he expected. How costly is that going to be? Ideal scenario would be field first shoot them out for low scores, pile up runs and use spinners in the 2nd dig to create problems. Problem for us is we played a grand total of 2 tests in NZ during our test domination period
vvvslaxman Posted June 19 Posted June 19 They are showing a segment on Nepal. It is pretty inspiring stuff. Hope INdia sends some team to Nepal and uplift them. Very passionate cricket team and fans
vvvslaxman Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Archer special did Latham in. ONe of his signature way of dismissing a left hander.
vvvslaxman Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Latham - left Conway - left Rachin - left Nichols - left India needs a bowler who can bowl the ball in and take it away to trouble NZ.
vvvslaxman Posted June 19 Posted June 19 Archer is altering between scrambled seam and upright seam . Bowling at 90 plus mph

The ball never stopped moving around. Add to that we lost both the tosses. Same venues this time as well. In 2014 we came close to winning both games on good tracks of Eden Park and Hamilton but they don't hosts tests in Eden anymore and don't schedule India tests in Hamilton. Edited June 19 by Lone Wolf

India tends to struggle against left handers that is our problem. Siraj doesn't moves the ball away from round the wicket. Bumrah does but NZ is his bogey side. Need someone else to do the heavy lifting
vvvslaxman Posted June 19 Posted June 19 What a sh**y streaming from cricbuzz/willow. Ever since cricbuzz merged with willow the streaming is awful. Out of nowhere it goes into a loop.

You need to practice with kookaburra turf ball before going there. India always does htis. If you look at Indian domestic, Duleep Trophy uses Kookaburra balls to give Indians a feel of the ball.Hope they practice enough to get their line and length right from first over of first test.
