1st test starts on June 4th, this Thursday. From Lord's

Finally Poms move past Crawley. Eng's first assignment after the Ashes humiliation.

Kane mama will also be in action. He is closing in on 10k runs.

Every run Root scores will hit @Laaloo like this a man in a police uniform is running towards another man in front of a crowd of people .

Please pin this thread @asterix @Austin 3:!6 @Lord. Proper test cricket after a long time.

NZ allrounders - Foulkes and Smith have been trash with the red ball so far against any decent batting lineup.

And they have only picked 4 proper pacers in the squad.  They should've picked that Michael Rae guy as well.

Unless they are planning to play only 3 pacers + Santner and then bowl part timers in Mitchell and Philips.

Looking very bleak either way.

England is likely to produce Patta pitches so root can score maximum runs, Plus bazball only successful on Patta pitches.

Nathan Smith is good bowls close to 140k and has had some success in Plunkett Shield.

Foulkes is mostly one trick pony with only inswing as his stock delivery

Nah. English folks won't put up with homophobia. Remember when Joe Root shut up Shannon Gabriel few years back

Whilst we talk about Root, Smith, this Kane mama has quietly brought his average up to 55.

Can see this guy retiring with close to 12 k runs at 55 avg.

3 tests against Wi next year at home. Generational minnow bashing karega ye.

After India series Sri Lankans are playing both tests in Bay Oval and Hamilton on better batting tracks.

He missed out in the Ireland test. Was expecting a classy 200* there.

Now SL and WI will face the wrath of mama. Maybe even these Poms, with their teletubby-like attack and pattas.
