And the sad part that team management took advantage of that incident to kick out Bishnoi and bring back useless Chahal for another year or so despite Bishnoi out-bowling Chahal in that tourney.

 

This fascination of preferring TTF "seniors" over performing youngsters is unique to Indian cricket. That's why we went through our lost decade without an ICC trophy

This pitch is assisting the spinners. Smriti stepping out and hitting the Pakistani spinners to all parts of the ground made the difference. One of the best innings I've seen of Smriti.
