Test

Kela

Jaiswal

Paddi

Gill

Pant

Jurel

Reddy

Manav

Gurnoor

Bumrah

Krishna

India can win a test and a ODI series as well with this line up.

1-1 test and 3-2 ODI series win with this combination.

No chance if we go with usual suspects against a Kiwi team in its absolute pomp and prime age & form wise.

I think this is a good test lineup.  Manav certainly offers more with the ball overseas than Jadeja. Just don't know what NKR bowling is like in tests even as fourth seamer

I don't think so , certainly not in NZ

He should get a long run in the A team first.

If it's a greentop, it makes a lot of sense to play Sooryavanshi in place of the spinner allrounder like Jadeja or Washington or Suthar.

Nobody will be able to bat for long. Maximizing the potential of those few deliveries is important.

45 off 30 balls makes much more sense than 15 off 37 balls on such a pitch.

■   Greentop ... more batting needed

1. Jaiswal

2. Rahul

3. Padikkal

4. Gill

5. Sooryavanshi

6. Pant

7. Jurel

8. NKR

9. Gurnoor

10. Prasidh

11. Bumrah

■   Flat deck .... more bowling needed

1. Jaiswal

2. Rahul

3. Padikkal

4. Gill

5. Jurel

6. Pant

7. Washington

8. Gurnoor

9. Siraj

10. Prasidh

11. Bumrah

12. Sudarshan

13. Sooryavanshi / Washington

14. Arshdeep

15. Siraj / NKR

16. Suthar

**   The 2nd bowler I want in the playing 11, after Bumrah, is Gurnoor Brar. He can be that X-factor all condition pacer if he gets 3 or 4 tests under his belt quickly.

Any squad without manav is beyond ridiculous

Most likely team considering Agarkar, Gambhir,Gill, Morkel,Kotak.

The team management has zero analysis, long term planning, eye for talent, plan to replace ageing seniors.

If this team can't give a debut to Gurnoor in place of struggling, out of rhythm, out of form, Siraj we should not expect changes for New Zealand test
