Come on guys and tell what places really interested you on the holidays on what made that place magical and made sure that it was once in a lifetime trip for you. Ill start When I was visiting my granny in India in Jullander, My family decided that we would take her on a trip she would never forget, while to be honest I would say it was more magical for me than granny. We thought of what place to visit as it had to be a nice and tropical place. Dubai? No, too expensive and my granny doesnt like the middle east, not offending anyone!!!! sorry if I do. Barbados? Too far. Perth? My granny wont step her foot inside that country for cricket reasons, so we were still thinking and my mummy and daddy had the perfect idea. Of course it was in asia and to this day I wont forget it............ THE MALDIVES. We were also excited. When we arrived in Male the capital, we were amased by the scenary and beautiful atmosphere. The people were nice, it was a beautiful tropical place, there were temples as we hoped and the journey/food was great. What really epitomised the journey for the whole family was when we stayed at One and Only Maldives at Reethi Rah. It was the most beautiful hotel I had stayed in, and I have stayed in quite a few very good hotels. I heard that this was very good hotel and was lookin foward to it. When we arrived, I just new that it was going to be special, and it was with its beautiful jungle, clear blue sea, great service and so many activaties to take part in. It was in all honesty magical and the spa was sensational. I would rate this as good as the oberoi in agra. Fantastic 5/5. Definitely a must for everyone as you wont regret it!!!!!

Few places can match the diverse landscape and the gorgeous sights of Utah in the fall season. The best part is the scenery keeps changing every 30-40 miles. So, you will keep coming across one amazing sight after another, if you just keep driving. Highly recommended for those who havent been to Utah yet. Dont go in the summers though, they are blistering hot and bone dry. In India I liked Munnar, in Kerala, very much. It was a very scenic hill station, which isnt as full of concrete as say Ooty of Kodaikanal.

Southern California: for great weather all round the year, beautiful coastline, fantastic places to eat, and for a generally hedonistic lifestyle followed by the South African coast: same, but more windy, a little hotter in the summer, and lifestyle can be dodgy sometimes Disclaimer: havent seen Australia, South America or NZ.

you need water, marirs, you need the sea to truly connect to nature. and you need temperate weather all year round.
I prefer landscape/architecture based nature more. Stuff like massive rocks, steep mountains, gorges, ravines etc. But if you like water, Utah is one place NOT to be. :D

I have heard the northern State of Montana is absolutely gorgeous during spring, with all its little streams and meadows.

It was a close one for me between the Great ocean drive near melbourne or Mauritius (I also liked San Juan for its old streets ...) I think if I have to pick one then it has to be the great ocean drive The drive starts like this 010_104442.jpg You drive svOCEANROAD_narrowweb__300x450,0.jpg Get there 2529382300048759538NrGqpI_fs.jpg The sunset Twelve%20Apostles,%20Great%20Ocean%20Road.jpg There are some rain forests along the way as well

For sheer natural beauty - the south island of New Zealand, and the coast of Alaska - particularly early in the morning in Alaska with some spectacular blazing sunrises over ice and glaciers. Stunning mountain scenery, lakes, fjords and waterfalls in NZ - both are mesmerizing experiences. This photo does no justice (Alaskan sunrise off the coast of Skagway)... 1636314imgxa9.jpg The plains of Kenya and Tanzania's Masai Mara and Serengeti come a close second. Incredible primal beauty, spectacular wildlife and the sight of Kilimanjaro. And some of the wildlife - the big cats in particular - are truly majestic and breathtaking to see.
