Desi Cartman Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 In Australia, the 12 Apostles on the Great Ocean Drive: didnt check my post above Al though I must confess that going to the great ocean every year can be a bit boring. Wh ever visits me from overseas or interstate always wants to go the 12 apostles.. Im sick of it now
dial_100 Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Mauritius island. We been there for our HM, 8 years ago. It was stunningly beautiful. Spent about 8 days. But there are many other places. I liked, California, White Mt. in N. East and so on. But nothing comes close to North eastern side of Himachal Pradesh. I 've been there this March. I have no words to express my joy of being to that place. Anywhere in India in general I enjoy lot.

cowboysfan Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 I too have done the river walk in zion NP-utah is really beautiful but I vote for glacier NP in montana-the 'going to the sun' road is the most beautiful and breathtaking road in the world. for a road trip nothing beats driving from manali to leh.The landscape on the 2nd highest road in the world is amazing.
graphic23 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Bump. Anyone been elsewhere since July of last year? :D
varun Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Spent some time in Cornwall UK couple of months ago.. A nice quaint beautiful place to go with a loved one.
yoda Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 One of the most majestic places I have visited. Was there last month and was truly impressed. A must for anyone who can:
CricketGirl Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Diyani beach mombassa - totally secluded white sand blue waters beach lined with palm trees and not much else, lake victoria, Mount Kenya basically anywhere rural in east africa!
gs Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Niagara Falls Florida Keys Munnar, Kerala Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
rahuliverpool Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Interlaken, Switzerland Innsbruck, Austria Titisee, Germany (just before the beginning of the actual black forest) Went to all the three places in one trip, so had an overdose of beauty! But, majestic nevertheless. Strongly Recommended Last but not the least Liverpool, UK (my birthplace :--D, that's right, A proud Liverpudlian!)
rahuliverpool Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Home. No better place on earth. Agreed. Although, the thread is about the Most beautiful place ever visited.
DomainK Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Agreed. Although' date=' the thread is about the Most beautiful place ever [b']visited. I visit my home everyday...hell, I even sleep there. Besides home, the most beautiful place I have ever visited is very close to my home- the Shimilipal reserve forests and mountains. The forrest office in charge there was a family friend and he used to take us inside in off seasons and the place is so thrilling. We were not allowed photography though.:((

Because in the off season, you won't find anything but dense jungle and all wild animals. We used to go in my childhood surrounded with professional hunters armed with modern rifles. Photography was not allowed because in off season you are not supposed to be there in the first place.
