coffee_rules
Was always a suspect. He was the weakest link aming the big 4 against quality spin. I think he was out to Warne most number of times amongst the Fab 4. Even Murali had him in knots while he was never a threat against India till SSC happened. Now, he will be exposed! I think he will fail in all 6 innings, if he plays that is. Link to comment
DomainK
Rahul Dravid has been dismissed most by Shane warne- 8 times followed by Pollock 6 times, McGrath 5 times and Kaneria 5 times. Muralitharan got him 5 times. In the top 20 there are only 7 spinners. Ganguly was dismissed by Muralitharan 6 times, Hogg 5 times, Kaneria 3 times. In top 20 there are 5 spinners. VVS Laxman was dismissed by Warne 5 times and Kaneria 3 times. In top 20 there are 3 spinners. Sachin Tendulkar was by Murali 7 times, Warne 3 times. In top 20 there are 4 spinners. Link to comment
Ram
RD 'maybe' the most unsure player of spin, when compared to Sach, VVS and SG, but that doesnt make him a bad player of spin. But surely, if ever there was time when RD needed a big one, it is now. Sure, the entire collective batting failed in the first test, but the other batsman have been prolific in the other matches that were played, when RD's performance was at best, above average. The pressure on him is immense right now. Link to comment

The biggest question however is, who is going to fill that spot? Those are some big shoes to fill, even for someone like Badri. Dont think Yuvraj or Rohit can measure upto Dravid. :nervous: Link to comment
Dravid
i think its time to hand over the 1st down position to VVS...:(( Link to comment

coffee_rules
He is too good a player to fail in 6 straight innings. He did it in 99-00 in Aus. He failed in all 6 innings and also in most ODIs. He came back to India and we played Zim. He scored a 200 and got his form back. :giggle: Link to comment

Everybody has their slumps, Dravid is going through one of his and it's only a matter of time before he gets out of it. You're talking about a guy who has over 10,000 test runs. Link to comment
