That was against full grown professionals. Kohli on the other hand is just a kid. His inexperience showed in the IPL. Badri, Dhawan are way more deserving than Kohli.

It's not the matter of Badri or Dhawan....everyone is aware that Badri and Dhawan both deserve chance ahead of Kohli kid. big question is how much patience, modern day "chanakya"ish fans are having between their pair of "fineleg" and even selectors. What if Badri and Dhawan too fail big time against M&M in this series, I am sure so called fans will start diverting their frustration towards trashing these two player in that case. Not to mention if selectors get an "impression" then it may spoil their rest of chance in future. Be patient, since now Kohli is already there in the tour, let's hope Sehwag makes a comeback and Gambhir fires in next match. I have only hope of tackling SL spinners from these two.

I agree that Dhawan should have been there instead of Kohli. To those that felt Dhoni didnt have a say in this ... are you kidding me? He has had a say in every single team selection up to this point. I am not blaming Dhoni, he backed his instinct and got it wrong this time ... but he has got it right in the past (with Sharma and Praveen in the CB series)

as I said he must be given chances but for how long. He is still a kid and he might get a mental block from which he wont recover if he does badly on the international stage.
