THX_1138 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 this is actually quite old... the car was launched in 1996 ish... my dad tried one out since his place of work is about two miles from his home (he lives in delhi), and he was fairly pleased with it.
Dirty_South Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 My head touches the roof of the car :--D Very very small car, imagine if a truck or bus hits it :((
THX_1138 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 how tall are you blue billion? my father is quite short, about 5'4" and he would fit into the vehicle without any problems. my brother is about 5'9" and he did not have many problems either, but i would image an inch or two taller and one would feel cramped for head room. nonetheless, this vehicle is less for everyday travel and more for short trips of less than 50 kms. the lead acid batteries rarely ever hold charge uniformly, or for any prolonged duration. besides, this car does not have regenerative braking...
beetle Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Delhi CM is subsidising this car big time in delhi and wants every family to have one.
THX_1138 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 6'3" :) yeah and i went out with natalie portman last night...
coffee_rules Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I have seen it on the road, Hardly any protection, I will be very afraid to ride on one. Unless, it is made of super powerful steel, it is very vulnerable in crashes.
