Boycott had no business criticizing Sehwag like that. He used to criticize Yuni a lot as well. I remember him saying that YS did not have talent, technique and temperament to play ODI cricket at international level and that he would not last more than a year. Link to comment

coffee_rules
MP, have you lent your userId to Afridi's cousin? Do you honestly think that from a white guy's POV - situation in Pakistani cities is the same as Jaipur/Delhi/Ahmedabad/Bangalore? Pakistan is an Islamic state. There is fear in visitors' minds with that basic thought. Esp to somebody from Aus. How much will a Islamic government stand up for a visitor in case of a Islamic terrorist act on them, when they proclaim to be from the same religion as the terrorists and have vowed to uphold the religion in their entire region. India is secular, atleast the current government is. So, a visitor will have more confidence on their safety. There is nothing sinister on their part to think that way. The problem lies in Pakistan and it's people and not elsewhere. Link to comment

Shehezaada
I don't understand why Sehwag has to go and say all this crap? Are there bombs everywhere in Pakistan? Don't think so. People seem to have this horror impression of Pakistan and it's honestly idiotic. We've toured there three times and have we EVER have a problem? no. And in fact the first tour there all our people were treated like kings. And what did they get when that toured here?? Their bus was shattered by a rock by a spectator. Sehwag, just make some runs for us in the series aight bro? That's all we need you to do. Has Tendulkar ever commented on situations like this? no, he just goes and plays. Do the same veeru Link to comment
Desi Cartman
My colleagues have been discussing why Aus is not touring pak but is ok to tour India. In the news this morning they were talking about PCB's plan to sue CA. Apparently , aus has closed 2 consulates in Pak and as per the govt advise one must not travel to Pakistan & for India it says "travel with caution" Well my colleagues are dead against aus touring pak since they think US-Pak tension is also on the rise and the pakistanis are uneducated , madarssa brainwashed jihadis. They also blame pak for terrorism in India. Link to comment

Ram
I think MP is allowing his patriotic sentiments to shroud some ground realities. And the ground reality is that the overall opinion in many countries of the world, about Pakistan, is not a favorable one. Pakistan has now become synonomous with terrorism and Islamic fundementalism. I just ran a search in BBC 'News and Sports', with the keyword 'Pakistan'.
