Holysmoke Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 thats a great book, hard to find 6th ed, google for 4th, its out there... i bought this book from India... 300 rs.. if you need a lot of books, buy them from india and get em shipped here... i needed 450$ worth of books this sem.. parents shipped em from India, came to arnd 50$ with shipping.... This book is a classic:-D.Discrete math has been my best course in college so far. (I graduate this sem)

A good start is always recommended. Yeah, I agree with holy that this is one of the better books, the same cant be said about that VLSI book :tounge_smile: Yeah, I couldnt' find the 6th, only 4th edition out there. If you cant get them shipped from India, then on ebay, there are usually 'international editions' of the same book. They are much cheaper in price and are usually in paperback and have cheaper but readable paper. Actually, I dont like the glossy paper cuz of its reflection.

Basically, they list all used books from ebay,half,amazon,abebooks and several others. Even new but international editions are available. I bought a brand new $90 book for 17 dollars + 10 dollars shipping. It was an effing hard bound edition.
