Sachinism Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Firstly we had Hayden with his "3rd world country" comments and now Watson is also saying the Indian batsmen made them wait (link) I think these guys seem to be forgetting that it was Ponting who kept changing the field constantly and kept talking to his bowlers between overs. They can't accept they lost because of a Ponting ****-up or they are just afraid to say anything against him and feel like taking their frustration out on India
Desi Cartman Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 are they trying to suggest that they lost 2 test matches because of slow over rate :hmmmm2: it has to be the lamest excuse ever given for losing a test series 2-Nil
graphic23 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 My god. Sore losers. I read an article on "The Australian" that took a dig at Ganguly by saying that "the over rates should go up in the world now that Sourav Ganguly has retired." WTF.
Holysmoke Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Thats because all other excuses are covered. Different balls - check(seam different) Different weather - check (hot humid unplayable conditions) Pitches - check(mumbai 04) Outfield - check (cant dive like in aus) Food - check(warne - baked beans) Hotels - check (security) Crowd - check(symmo, mumbai) Players - check (bhajji) Cant really complain about the bats.. although punter was banned from using his graphite bat The next complain will be about how India has less clouds in the sky, and how it prevents the aussies from performing

This was their excuse when they lost a one-off test match at Kotla in 1996.
Sachinism Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 The next complain will be about how India has less clouds in the sky, and how it prevents the aussies from performing :hysterical::hysterical: or maybe how they were baffled by the signs on trucks saying "horn OK please" or maybe the constant horning in Mumbai was a distraction maybe they felt Modi would pull a Stanford and sit down some of their wives
jf1gp_1 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 and why does such a comment deserve a thread ?
Fontaine Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Look why are we creating a new thread every time an Australian has something to say? And the fact of the matter is that at times Dhoni DID take extra time to set fields etc because he was employing defensive tactics. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Lame thread.
King Tendulkar Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 We tactically slowed the over rate in 4th test. Aussies had slow over rate cos Ponting is a jack ass and stupid. Cos he is so stupid it takes him ages to set the field as his brain works a lot slower then others.
DomainK Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 and why does such a comment deserve a thread ? To have a laugh at the Aussies.
Sachinism Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 If news sites can accomodate these interviews, we have a little space to use to laugh at these idiots
THX_1138 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Not every ejaculation deserves a funeral... frack the aussies, can we just move on now?
