DomainK
If England have a chance to win a match in India, it's the 4th ODI in M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. One, they have been consistently getting better....the margin of loss has been consistently getting narrower. And two- they have a 100% record against India on that ground. 2 matches, 2 wins. Of course one of those wins came in 85...which is quite irrelevant now. But still they will go in believing that the ground suits their kind of cricket. Toss seems quite important here again....unlike Green Park. The team that won the toss on this ground never lost the match. So if England is lucky enough to win the toss, they may just get lucky for the rest of the match. Link to comment

Dinx - the Jinx
Forecast from Bangalore - No rains, no dews. No smoking in public, no dancing in discotheques. Heavy traffics especially the area near the stadium and MG Road due to the digging and laying of namma metro. First time in many many years - India is going to play in Bangalore without any Karnataka player. There is no RD, AK and not even RU. Link to comment

Dinx - the Jinx
through out the 90s and earlt 2000s blr was a very lucky ground for us. we won almost every single match which even prompted bcci to fix this as venue for one of the finals of an odi tournament, which usually went to th eden gardens. but over the last 7-8 years it has become very unlucky. dont rememer when was the last time when we won in blr. Chennai has been very lucky over the last 10 years. The last test we lost here was the 1999 test against pakistan (the prev one was against eng in 1985) and the last odi loss was against WI in 2007 (whch was a dead rubber) and the prev. also against pakistan in 1998 (anwar 194) Link to comment
