Desi Cartman Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Eng tour likely to be canceled as per CNN IBN
gs Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Cant really blame them. Self preservation comes before everything else including IPL money.
sm332 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Eng tour will be over ... Pak tour is also likely to be called off
Predator_05 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 England should stay and continue playing as a sign of solidarity. Australia did so after the London bombings in summer of '05, and England should do so now. Don't let the terrorists hold the country hostage
bharat297 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 ^ If you were in CAs position ... would you do that? I cant blame them. Safety of the players comes first.
King Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 India should start looking for a neutral venues now. When people are getting killed left right and center you won't have sportsmen visiting India for playing sport. The Taj and Oberoi I hear are top hotels and hosts diplomats and sportsmen when they visit Bombay. Not good for India.

Ram Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Only nut-cases will talk about playing cricket when the country's biggest city itself is under siege from militants. For Eff's sake, this is just bloody cricket. Lets get our guests ( the cricketers) out of our country safely and then try to salvage our situation at home.

And I also understand about not letting terror take hold of our normal lives, sport etc. But, solidarity is not shown by turning a blind eye and running away and watching cricket or "getting on with lives" and all tosh. You look terror in the eye and you eradicate it. You don't go around terror to get on with your lives, you trample over terror and get on with your lives.
Rajiv Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 no point in continuing odi;s and tests with eng;and either, how can u enjoy a match with what happened

King Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 How much more longer is it going to take to end this terrorism? I think the govts are far too relaxed and let every tom dick and harry dictate to them. Forget cricket, foot ball and the rest for now. Just go after each of those terrorist groups and bring them to dust. That''ll serve the rest that like to go that way. I'm sure the cops have their own intelligence but the PC stuff just doesn't help.

Ram Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 People are dying out there.. Please, help them. A canceled cricket tour is nothing compared to that.
sharma Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 its strange that this time they specifically targeted foreigners, usually they wanna kill as many indians as possible. they hit a hotel in pak earlier, now hotel in india...all seems too fishy
flamy Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 They just want to hurt India's image in Western world
Rajiv Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 They just want to hurt India's image in Western world How does that hurt India's Image? if u mean security then could anyone have stopped 911?
DomainK Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 How does that hurt India's Image? if u mean security then could anyone have stopped 911? Lets be practical Rajeev. This is a huge blow to the Indian tourism industry. Our top most hotels are not safe.....who would want to come to India now?
