diegovegaz
i want to see badrinath given his test cap dravid needs to rested, he should go back to the domestic level, and then come back it would be a perfect oppurtunity for badri to step into the wall's shoes Link to comment
King Tendulkar
England are 6/1 to win this test. Seems like attractive odds to me. Although will never bet against India Link to comment
Rajan
Vijay shud replace Dravid I know Dravid is held in high esteem by the team management. I am also sure that he deserves the respect. i think from 2002 to 2006, he held the indian batting and provided a great solidity for the stroke players to play around him.I have been waiting for that 1 big innings which would get his form back.i am sure he works very hard in the nets. he is very hungry for success.given an opportunity to bat #5, he may even get it in Mohali. But i have also been watching him getting out to deliveries which do not deserve his wicket.the bowlers who used to despair at the sight of him in the crease, are now eyeing him as an easy prey.that adds lot of pressure to the team, especially if the first wicket falls early. if he fails again, then it would ruin his confidence in the second innings and add even bigger pressure. Flintoff will be brought immediately and they will test him thoroughly. so, i feel it is fair for him to take a break and let Vijay to settle in the team. he had done well against aussies.
