I was about to lose it and spend a fortune to send my Hard Drive to some data recovery place. I archived my old cricket matches, IPL and recent games on my newly bought 500GB Hitachi HDD It gave me HDD Fail and Imminent Danger everytime I rebooted the PC, the videos wouldn't copy/paste, they wouln't play and I just couldn't do anything My regular recovery software couldn't even see the videos, instead it started recovering older files which were deleted from it Recover my files - FAIL Easy Recovery - FAIL Undelete - Fail Stellarinfo - Fail So I ventured bit further - I got Spinrite by GRC ( a DOS command ) software and it ran and ran and stuck at 16% reading every sector Estimated Remaining Time: 916 hrs :(( I said this is nuts, so fark it..but just before I could give up. I found this software called GetDataback It ran for 4 days but finally it finished and slow but steadily is recovering all the vids ( I am checking them and they can be played ) So, if you ever have a situation like this - try this software.

what the hell was the software doing for 4 days ? Not to be rude, but if you don't share your cricket archives then you get f00ked by karma :(( :D

u can find it in torrents but scans the NTFS like anything, depending on the size ; it will take its time but it works, if u have dual-core CPU you can do other things as well and let the s/w do its job
