Ram Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 There are so many to list.. English; Terminator 2: Dont know which to list and which to leave.. Cant forget the particular one in which Arnold goes out of a room to take on Elite American Commandos, shoots them in their legs and before he leaves does a scan of the scene to reveal ‘Zero Casualties’ Armageddon: The President’s speech when the two shuttles are about to leave on their mission. I know that speech by-heart and feel its content is so relevant in today’s times. This particular line ‘Beneath all the chaos, all the discord, pain, suffering, there is one thing that has nursed our souls and elevated our species beyond its origins.. And that is our courage’ keeps ringing in my ears often. Behind Enemy lines 1: That F-17 Hornet – Missile scene… Truly captivating. Hindi; Not many here, coz haven’t watched too many Hindi movies.. but Lagaan is a particular favorite. The scene in which Bhuvan accepts Captain Russel’s bet to play the match is especially super. Rahman’s BG for that scene kicks ass. Tamil: Baasha: A Landmark movie in an already landmark career of Rajni. Fav scene: His commanding ‘Ulle po’ shout at his brother, when he takes on the villains who harmed his sister. The power in that line, the anger in the eyes is to be seen to be believed. It is particular surprising coz Rajni isn’t generally noted for his acting skills Mudhalvan ( The original Tamil version of Nayak): The CM – Arjun interview scene. A VERY un-Indian sort of scene.. Manmadhan: Pretty sure most of the guys would have never heard of this move, but Silambaran’s performance in the climax is one of the most powerful expression of emotions I’ve seen in Tamil cinema.

With regards to Basha, I thought the best scene was the one in the flashback where he randomly meets Raghuvaran and says that 'a bad man will win at first and lose later' - ' a good man will be in trouble at first, but will win in the long run'. That was my favorite scene and obviously, everywhere he says the naa oru.. dialogue. Shankar's Indian and Mudhalvan are probably his best movies made 'till day. Although the scene in Anniyan where he fries that railway cook is also pretty awesome :D
Ram Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Here's the F-18 scene from 'Behind enemy...' The music kinda kills it, still its quite watchable. U3u0iY5WQhI The climax of the movie is quite decent too; WwHgShEF4IU Armageddon scene; SCJeR0UebR8 Lagaan scene; pyhXVYVXHzM
