Looked superb against some quality pace from Steyn and Ntini, and some persistent stuff from Harris. Great achievement. Hopefully this will mean the last of Symonds.

But the Australian team selection is still baffling - what is Andrew McDonald doing in the side? Do Australia seriously think he can contribute more than Bollinger. If South Africa still have an outside chance in the match it's because Australia are basically playing just 3 bowlers. With any decent 4th bowler they might have struck another blow or two and finished the match off for all practical purposes.

It seems uncertainity in their batting prompted the change, Bollinger might be picked in the next one as the steady North has instilled some confidence within the Aussie ranks. The Aussie went into this with a no-loose game plan !!!
