Lahore Shootout completely wiped from Cricinfo?

Have Cricinfo's offices been threatened or something? They have completely removed any trace of the attacks from even the smaller news items on the home page. I'd like to see Paks name rubbed in as deep as it will go, for what they did to the poor Sri Lankans.

Interesting change of priorities. Last night, Cricinfo did not feature the live scorecard of the 2nd ODI b/w Ind-NZ even till about 10 mins before the match began. Their homepage was still blaring loudly about the Lahore attacks. 12 hours later, the whole headline's gone! Its possible that they received pressure from different quarters that their coverage of whole incident was getting political rather than sporting, which is in fact what was happening. Them featuring Broad's comments and Butt's rebuttal has nothing to do with the sporting aspect of cricket. Its just the politics surrounding the incident.

I think there are too many headlines to keep on the front page: Ind vs NZ, Aus vs SA, Eng vs WI, IPL news, and other random thoughts. So they have dedicated an entire page to the Lahore shootout, which is on the left side just below the current series' in progress: Lahore Terror attack is the heading! .

yeah..lets blame this one on LASHKAR/ISI as well.......they must have threatened to blow Cricinfo's office in Bangalore........damn terrorists..... you guys seriously need to get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!

But they did, maybe not in Bangalore but the Munani offices in Chennai and Coimbatore.

both your links are not working... by no means i'm defending the security provided to the Lankans but the end of day it was the Lankans word that they were thankful to the bus driver for getting them out of there. I hold the Zardari GOVT accountable for this crap more than any other group or agency. If the Lankans were promised presidential level security why the f*** were they not provided one?
