Running between the wickets

Fielding is rightly criticized and we have been shoddy in NZ However, running between the wickets has been very good. I like the way bais are running. :two_thumbs_up: Some technical corrections needed in terms of Sehwag sliding the bat rather than keeping it in the air while completing the run. But still, super running by VS, GG, SRT, MSD, Raina, Yuvi. Come Tests - we will find the going tough in this dept. Dravid and Laxman are the worst runners, and have a lot of run outs as well as get other batsmen in a tight spot. Watch out GG, SRT, Yuvi - don't go in ODI mode runs with Dravid and Laxy - that will be risky. The slow running will be a big sigh of relief for NZ in Tests.

Yup, running has been awesome. Could do without some of those clangers yesterday but its not due to complacency as much as it is the wind at the field yesterday. A LOT of wind.

The NZ comm. team was pretty surprised by the "uncharacteristic" good running between the wickets. :finger: The Gauti-Sehwag pair makes such a big difference.
