DomainK
Mohammad Azharuddin discovered his amazing talent as a bowler and used him frequently and wisely. We have great memories of his bowling from those days. Sourav Ganguly used him sparingly, Ragul Dravid underused him and Mahendra Singh Dhoni does not use him at all. Why? Is it because of his health? But his kind of bowling does not take a high level of fitness. Has he quit bowling so that he can concentrate on batting solely? He used to be such a handy partnership breaker and could have been very useful today. He is very effective on his day when he lands the ball on the right length. He can spin it a long way and has a very useful googly. He can bowl off spinners, he can bowl leg spinners and he can even bowl seam up and swing the ball. What happened to Tendulkar the bowler? After repeated injuries to the elbow, he's stopped bowling. I've him bowl under Dhoni but only once or twice. Link to comment
Anakin
He shouldn't bowl anymore, as simple as that Link to comment
guju24
let him concentrate on his batting for last years of his cricketing career... Link to comment
suraj
He is preserving his body for batting which is a more important need for the team from him Link to comment
Sachinism
Normally I would say no to bowling Tendulkar, he's very unpredictable and could go for runs, but he's bowling quite brilliantly today Link to comment

In 2006, after the test series with England at home, Sachin had a shoulder operation and a bicep tissue tear fixing as well. Remember, he was ruled out for the WI seies in May-June later in the same year? After that surgery, the doctors had told him not to put extra pressure on that right shoulder and apparently, bowling leggies does put a pressure there. That is why he stopped bowling. fineleg
December 2003 - Adelaide http://content.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/64060.html D. Martyn (who is an excellent player of spin) and Steve Waugh both scalped by Tendulkar. Excellent bowling by him then. By the way both catches of Martyn and Waugh were taken by one Rahul Dravid :D (but that is not what jogged my memory, really!) - it was good bowling by SRT. We miss that these days. Link to comment

fineleg
he was used judiciously and wisely today it was good. Hope they continue that. Even Sehwag should be given bowling in every Test for brief period. Keep them in touch. Link to comment
mausumidas
The legend has a golden arm. Whaever he does, he shines. His googlies are lethal. He appeared to be penetrative during his spell against the NZ. Link to comment
ViruRulez
Tendulkar was also regarded as an alrounder once .. he had got two five wicket hauls if I remember .. he is a clever bowler and mixes his bowls .. but right now I will like him to concentrate on his batting instead .. I do not want any injury to him at all by any chance Link to comment
