Denying Tendulkar's Greatness

Recommended Posts

The last two years have been watershed moments in Sachin's career. Previously, many cricket followers from other countries and from India too had the chance to repeatedly sneer at him for some of the perceived gaps in his resume. But since WC '07, he has filled almost all that gaps, especially in tests. It all started for Sachin in the England tour of '07. He made crucial runs in both the 2nd and third tests and helped India win that series, but the actual start of his golden run was his fighting 50 in the face of some hostile fast bowling from Shoaib Akhtar, in the second innings of the first test at Delhi in 2007. We lost 3 wickets really quickly in that test, but his innings helped chase a 190 target and win that match. Since then, its been one pressure packed innings after another really. Stunning batting...Its a pity that we dont play any more test series in this year till November.
