Ram
South Africa revolutionized tail-end batting in the late 90s.. At one point, they had McMillan, Klusener, Symcox and Boucher. :omg: Link to comment
coffee_rules
Read-guard actions is becoming a regular feature in most teams these days. Every team expects some runs from the tail. The keepers are becoming regular batsmen, full time bowlers who can bat a bit are preferred to allrounders who used to only bat and bowl a bit. Even India, post 2004 have regularly been saved by tail-ender runs. Remember Kaif putting up runs with the tail in the home series in 2004 against Aus. Link to comment
graphic23
Australia because of Mitchell Johnson - terrific technique for someone who comes in at #8/#9, and even otherwise. Link to comment
