India- favourites for 20-20 World Cup?

I'd probably say so. Defending champions with an excellent leader, strong and varied bowling attack, a long batting line-up, plenty of power players and a better fielding unit than in the past. Expect Australia, SA, NZ and maybe England (home) and Pakistan (runners-up last time) to be their main rivals in this tournament. Last time out in SA, I remember India destroying SA on a green juicy track in Durban- really enjoyed that as SA expected India to capitulate and were hammered :-)

IMO I think its pretty difficult to have favourites in T20, there could easily be upsets, as its just 20 overs of hitting, someone could get lucky and knock over a bit team

Pakistan has some good T20 players and has the best T20 bowling attack (Afretard, Gul, Tanvir)...and if they can somehow get Razzaq and figure out their opening combo, they're really set

Think logically.Pakistan is capable of winning T20 world cup just like india.They are not playing many matches but that doesnt mean they cant win the World Cup.

i agree.the key is to get to see the semis and hopefully you will have 2 great games with some luck.

since 2008, we have sucked at 20/20 with only 25% success rate. odi & test cricket is real cricket 20/20 sucks & should be banned

I think Indian has a better team than they had last time around and after IPL, they got much better Sehwag Gambhir Uthappa Raina Yuvraj Dhoni Y Pathan Bhajji Zak RPS Some good newcomer performing well in IPL (Atul Sharma perhaps )

England will never win anythin big in men's cricket atleast for the next ten years, KP wil take care of tht. There are no favs in T20 WC but England wil not win.
