Last miserable one was against Pak in 2005 when we were up 2-0 and then lost 4 in a row. This one is even worse. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Re: Worst ODI series performance in a long time... Our batsmen always do things together. If one is in form, all are in form and if one is out of form, all of them follow.

Re: Worst ODI series performance in a long time... Has to be the worst ODI series by a long mile. In all the three ODIs the team hasn't been able to play full 50 overs let alone reach anywhere near the target. Wonder when did this last happen, not been able to bat out your full quota of overs??? Proving to be a midget cricket where you have 45 to 50 overs to bat each side but end up not batting more than 20 - 25 overs.

Re: Worst ODI series performance in a long time... Reminds me of the NZ series before the world cup. The one good thing that came out of that series was that all our bowlers got into amazing form as evident from their performances in the world cup. Hope something similar happens this time as our bowling has looked quite decent.

Re: Worst ODI series performance in a long time... This series reminds me of the 92 series in SA...i guess we won a solitary ODI then thanks to Pravin Amre....

Re: Worst ODI series performance in a long time... Too much tinkering with the lineup since the eng series brought the downfall, IMO. Uthappa, YVR, SS, Powar, RPS, Irfan, Jaffer, Kumble, VRV - all in and/or out since we had that solid run. Adding to it, Irfan and Dhoni have been moved up and down the order at random.

^They take the idea of unity in diversity a bit too far.
