Rajiv Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Ticz is DD supporter :D I know but he doesn't kid all the time
Cricketics Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 i am think yourself.. Your batting needs a boost.. Mills is not a batsman who will fail. He is like a all rounder who would come and wag all aroudn the parks. He is a must.

ViruRulez Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Graphics' date=' Napier is a specialist T20 and I think he deserves a chance to prove his worth. He can come into the XI at Bravo's cost other firangi's cannot be touched.[/quote'] Bhai Bravo took two wickets too and that is a bonus .. and Bravo is good on his day and a very good ODI player .. and I doubt he is bat at T20 either
Don Sharma Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 JP, even though he played well, ideally he should have seen it through till the end which he didnt. But it is too early to bring in any changes. But if there is someone who has to be replaced then I will go with Duminy also I think Suriya's record in SA isnt all that great.
bunny Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Use Bhajji and Zak as middle order batsmen instead of Dhawan/Bravo.
Shane Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Our keeper sucks and so the lengthy tail, get Rahane in place of that quota player Dhawan, the rest is fine
bunny Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Our keeper sucks and so the lengthy tail' date=' get Rahane in place of that quota player Dhawan, the rest is fine[/quote'] Rahane isnt a T20 player by any stretch of imagination. Get Ashraful in instead of Dwayne Bravo and promote guys like Nayar, Bhajji, Zak etc ahead of Dhawan.

The way Dhawan is going, we can ship in Geofrey's mum and she would do a better job with the bat 2. Bravo took 3 wickets and scored 21, Ashraful is here just to fill in the numbers, Graeme Napier would be a better bet

If he is a better bat than Bravo, bring him in. Ashraful though is a very good T20 player. Check his stats. If he plays, he might have to open though. He isnt a great player of spin bowling.
Don Sharma Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 I cant digest people over looking Bravo. For Christ sake, he brought MI back into the match yesterday agreed his batting wasn't all that good but Napier replacing Bravo is a joke.
Shane Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Agree with sridev, its too early to call for heads, the Foreign Players have done well, Malinga, Bravo, JPD, Jaya however is yet to hit his straps, we have good back up in the form of Napier
graphic23 Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Man dropping Jayasuriya is so detrimental to the overall feel of the dressing room. As long as he's there, there is no safe score - seriously.
Dark Warrior Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 dhawan has to play & play @no.3 for DD nd not MI
SachDan Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 At the moment we can't even think of dropping any of the four foreign players. Would like to see Takawale replacing Pinal Shah as he's a better bat than Shah and played couple of cameo innings last season.
Guest Hiten. Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Wasted yet another blistering start. Nayar went crazy and starting running for everything he hit or missed
satishg Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 yep its like the Indian batting of the 90s..once SRT goes everyone goes..man so much pressure on him even in IPL..darn it..MI middle order :whack:
DomainK Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 MI middle order is really a worry. It was a great idea to send Bhajji at no3 today. Bhajji has become a decent enough hitter.
