Two seperate experiences made me think yesterday. Situation A: How freaking hard it is to find the jeans that you absolutely love? You know the kind that is faded just right, is neither too long nor too short, sits right on your thighs, doesnt have too low a rise nor too high? I had a perfect pair of jeans that I manage to crash and tear over the weekend. And even though I have lot of others none of them are a perfect fit. So I am shopping for that dream pair now. At one of the stores I pick a few pairs of my taste, then walk in to the trial room. There I am met by a gorgeous girl, nice figure, face and all, in her late teens. All smiling and saying - Hi I am Amanda. Did you know you would get 15% off today if you applied for our card? And thats on top of 20% off in the stores today. Please let me know if you need any help with the size. Now as men the world over would attest even though we have heard that sales pitch zillion times over it still gets us all tingly. So now I am trying on the jeans when I hear a bunch of girls arrive in the trial aisle. Turns out they are all friends of Amanda. After the initial oohs and aahs and cat shrieks the discussion goes thus So Amanda we have not seen you in a while. Whats going on? Nothing. Busy working. Did you get married yet? No. Not yet. Still single lol. What happened with the last guy? Oh I dont know it did not work out. Well you know you are only young for so long. Get married while you can. Yeah I know I shouldnt be eve's dropping but what do you do when you are in a trial room and people are talking outside. Anyway the jeans did not fit, I came out and found the same girl totally crestfallen. Gone was the chirpyness, that smile and the confidence that comes with youth. I frankly did not know what to say except feel in my mind how girls are mean to other girls. Sometimes its good to be a guy. Situation 2: Probably my most hated sentiments at work are reserved towards long meetings. I kinda like 45 minutes meeting with focussed discussion. Instead what I get pulled into are 2 hours discussions about visions and missions and where frankly nothing is achieved. So I was stuck in one such meeting and probably to keep myself from sleeping I was sipping this big bottle of Cola. Well it did keep me awake, if unattentive, but it also filled my bladder rather quickly. And finally I head to the restroom. Cutting all the censored versions I am at the cubicle when I hear the voice from the guy in the next cubicle. "So lets meet for lunch". Under most circumstances I get startled when people talk to me while you-know-what. And why the eff would I meet this guy for lunch?? So I mustered a "Excuse me". He looks at me all annoyed and I then realize he is on his earpiece talking into the cell. Now this seriously pi$$ed me off. Why would you talk to someone from the restroom?? I would hate to take a call with the other person taking care of business. I dont really care if you are the most sultry item ever. Later in the day I checked with my colleagues and most of the guys admitted they have done the same at some point of time. Not sure if girls do this, or not. xxx

I have been in 'Situation 2' on more than one occasion, either with room-mates or colleagues. Pretty sure the ladies yap in the restroom too, given their need to conceal their gossip. So, not sure if its 'Man' thing. :D

I fail to see why anyone who is not a double amputee, or in the space program needs a headset. its not like you can use them while driving for cellphones and driving ought to be forgiven... furthermore, how bloody heavy is a phone that you cannot hold it against your face?

i find that the more i wear a particular pair of jeans the more comfortable they get...rarely do i find a pair of jeans that are perfect from the word go...

I was once talking to a girl on phone while peeing and she freaked out...she heard the noise and asked me " Are you ****ing peeing ? " ...I said no, I was doing dishes...I am not sure if she believed me.

My x used to always call me from the restroom as they were not allowed to use mobile phones at work. So it was her way of sneaking out to make a call.

I once dated a nurse. She would always insist that i pee right after i wake up. Sometimes when she wakes me up in the morning by phone, she insists the i pee and she would still be talking. So basically i had to pee while i was on the phone but of no fault of my own. I hate people talking, on the phone or to another person in the restroom.

That reminds me of this incident when I worked as an intern in this company. I was taking a leak in the washroom at my worplace and then my manager came and started taking a leak in the urinal right beside mine...... i choose to ignore him...all of a sudden he farted loudllyyyy....i could control and started laughing ..imagine you taking a leak and the person right beside u farts out loudly and you have no choice but to stand there... I had to stand there as my tank wasnt completely empty..during the whole time, i didnt even look at him and I was trying to control my laughter.... lol..it was one weird experience....

One of my friends had to lose his cellphone. He was talking while peeing and accidently dropped it in the loo. His phone is in deep pee, didn't muster to pick it up. Cancelled his account and disabled his phone and bought a new one. He never used his phone again in the loo.
