Dark Warrior
........... Pakistan not consulted over Champions League exclusion ....... yeah, so ? The CL, just like IPL 2009 will flop because the life of the party are not there ? cuckoo - cuckoo :bird: BCCI = Board of Control for Cricket in Taliban by India Isolate them, exclude them, whatever FIXED! :--D Link to comment
Zap_Brannigan
From a practical point of view it makes absolute sense. Pakistan is just too damn volatile right now. Even if the pak govt says yes, they holding up their word in a few months is doubtful as they make decisions without logic all the time, like how they barred their players from playing in India eventhough it should have been India who should have barred their players from coming. Teams need to and will want to start preparing now. So if the paki team doesnt make it , it would be too much too ask for DD to join later. It will make things much difficult for not only DD but also other boards involved with its players (like Warner). Another point of view is that since paki govt say no first to IPL, this is the BCCI's way of saying "who the fk cares abt pakis". Either way, pakis not playing makes me happy. I am astonished by the stupidity of certain ppl wanting ICC to do something abt this. Idiots think that ICC has a say in domestic tournaments. Let them make their own leagues and play in them. King
Good on Lalit Modi, good riddance. If Indian govt can follow suit of IPL in international politics it would be great but they will not as they are inept. Link to comment

Guest gaurav_indian
Although your point makes sense' date=' it's not fair on Modi's part to not consult the PCB before making such an important decision. Modi may need to understand that he doesn't own ICC.[/quote'] On one side Miandaad an important member of PCB keeps insulting IPL by saying things like "IPL is a joke" "IPL matches are fixed".And on the other side they want their team to feature in the same league where IPL teams are playing?Modi is a smart man.PCB wanted to take revenge from india for cancelling pakistan's tour so they called india unsafe and didnt allow their players to play in IPL.And Modi just used the same excuse to kick their a**. Plus its a very big league lots of money is involved in it.Noone wants to take risk with any pakistani teams and their PCB's dramas. Link to comment

vvvslaxman
How can a peon sue his boss?:nervous: We know who they are. But they don't know who they are. 6 millions $ at stake. So they will pull all the stops to get attention. Only thing they will keep forgetting is they are surrounded by water, when they pull all the stops they will be drowned! Link to comment
