They need to beat Holland by only about 25 or more runs ah just figured it out... every run by which pakistan win, is every run by which the dutch lose, i.e. for every +0.05 in pakistan's NRR, the dutch NRR suffers -0.05. Thus, to overcome a deficit of -2.45, they need to score better than the dutch by 1.225, i.e. 24.5 runs, i.e. 25 runs.

EnterTheVoid Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 For some reason, I am not enjoying this as much as I hoped I would even though I wanted Pakistan knocked out of the tournament. It all seems so routine. After a point, I guess it loses its charm.
