Mr. Wicket
... they're showing hls of the 2nd ODI from the six match series v. Pak in 2005. Dhoni's first outing at #3, where he belted 148 alongside a typically insane Sehwag innings. Awesome stuff. Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Oh, and watching him absolutely obliterate Afridi's pie chucks is hysterical. Link to comment
Lord
Watching Dhoni belting those sixes so easily is like watching Irfan swinging the ball even on pattas n getting early wickets regularly.both look great but we know that we have lost these Dhoni n Pathan forever Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Afridi Opening :hehe: hahahaha... that was one of the funniest things ever, if you watched it live. Dhoni had a very close LBW shout against Afridi early in his innings, obviously wasn't given. Then he hit him for a six over cover, belted him around a bit more and Afridi finished with a mess for his bowling figures. Was basically evident before he even faced a ball that he'd be trying to avenge his humilation with the ball. Nehra saw him coming straight away - basically aimed at the stumps, the beastly little turd immediately took a step down the track, swung wildly and his off stump went flying. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Link to comment

The Outsider
I would want to watch his innings of those times again just to see what was the difference in his hitting technique then and now. These days even when he is not "consolidating" and trying to accelerate and hit out he is hardly able to do so - either holes out in the deep or keeps hitting deliveries on the ground to fielders in the deep.
