I hope I have judged the underlying sarcasm in your post accurately. DomainK was actually correct in some of the cases of exploitation of law pointed out. Such events have happened atleast in India. OTOH, I do not believe this to be the case here. The guy appears to be very guilty. The statutory rape point is totally valid. I am not sure whether most people in India grasp what that actually means.
