Srinath may have been quicker than waqar for some period after 96 when waqar returned after a back injury. From 89-95 waqar was the quickest bowler in the word.. Zahid was quick coz there is a video of 2003 where he bowled 140+ against S.A on his comeback and that is after he didnt play any cricket or very little cricket due to severe back injury

I was talking about his debut series in 2001 in NZ Sami confused everyone in that tour of 2001 he was swinging the ball at pace b/w 140-150 consistently and that at only 19 years of age.. but somehow never developed maturity to perform at international level despite having a great action,pace etc...

That is true. Upto 1994 or so Waqar was really quick and faster than others. Srinath was quicker than others in 1995 and 1996. Mohmd Zahid was perhaps quick for a very short period of time. Not really impressive but there was a Pakistani bowler named Mohmd. Akram who looked really sharp. He bowled mostly during the pre speed gun days. He was a good bowler too but somehow did not play much.

yes you may be true in your assessment of srinath... Muhammad Akram was quite nippy though he was not a genuine fast bowler like wAQAR,SHOAIB , DONALD OR LEE... he was more wahab riaz,yadav or Aaron in terms of pace

I am not sure Donald was as quick as Shoaib or Lee. He was just fast, maybe 140 k to 150 k, not 145 k to 156 k like Shoiab or Lee. He may have looked quicker because of the super bouncy pitches he bowled on. Waqar was also mostly fast and never as quick as Shoaib, who I think is the fastest bowler to have ever bowled in international cricket if you consider the length of time he was super quick especially in test matches.

Hahaha ! Typical ! Btw, I watched Zahid in his younger days and he was far from being quick. He was just an alright bowler. Nothing special. Coming back to Donald, 'Express Bowling' is right. Donald was not 150-160 kph bowler. He was hyped, just like how ppl hype Waqar's pace. In a nutshell, Waqar was not as fast as Shoaib.
