Laxman leads Lancashire to Victory

Recommended Posts

VVS continues to show his good form, as he was neglected by Adam Gilchrist in the IPL. He scored an unbeaten 64 from 90 odd balls, and has played well in the 2020 format smashing balls out of the park. Clearly shows that Deccan Chargers as well as India, has treated VVS in the limited over format in a harsh way. They gave Dravid so many chances while VVS has always been left out.

Class of Laxman takes Lancs to victory :hatsoff: 054800.jpg

V.V.S. Laxman hit a sedate unbeaten 64 to script Lancashire’s seven-wicket win over Worcestershire in the division one County Championship at Old Trafford. The Indian, who scored only 19 in the first innings, more than made up when it mattered most and remained unbeaten after a 93-ball knock studded with six fours. Laxman and Steven Croft (40 not out) put together an unbeaten 91-run stand to see Lancashire home. It was, however, Paul Horton (77) who top-scored in Lancashire’s second innings. Lancashire bagged 17 points from the win which would keep the fourth-placed team in the hunt for the title race

How about you do this, get stats of ganguly and Dravid from IPL 2008 and compare it with laxman. Considering that 2008 was a run fest while 2009(in which laxman did not play) was not, i expect laxman to have scored less. But if he did score more then post those stats to Shah ruk khan and Mallaya and ask then to get laxman in their team.
