Guest gaurav_indian
Wow what an inning by Zimbabwean. 194 from 156 balls 16 fours and 7 sixes :yay::yay::yay::yay: A blockbuster of an innings from Charles Coventry, the joint-highest individual score in ODIs, raised Zimbabwe's chances of leveling the series against Bangladesh. Coventry was involved in two substantial partnerships, with Hamilton Masakadza and Stuart Matsikenyeri, on either side of a middle-order collapse to power Zimbabwe to their second consecutive 300-plus total. It was a superbly paced innings from Coventry; he provided the impetus after the early dismissal of Mark Vermeulen, then tempered his aggression when the wickets tumbled around him in the middle overs, before finishing off with an awesome display of powerhitting. What made it even more astonishing was that the next highest score was 37, 157 less than Coventry. DomainK
Superb innings. If that Bangladeshi fielder had not allowed that four that should actually have been a single, he would have got enough strike to score more. Link to comment
Guest Gunner
He was 194 N.o, so I reckon Saeed Anwar's record is broken as he was out on 194. Link to comment

spectre
Another Paki record is broken What else have they got...apart from owning the highest number of bunkers in the world Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Well done coventry. Atleast coventry didn't need a by runner for 100 runs. I am pretty sure this pitch is not as flat as Chennai pitch that Anwar played. Link to comment
Tapioca
Wasn't Anwar dropped several times ? Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Yea Anwar was dropped by Sunil Joshi once. He just got lucky. Look at the other scores in his career. I don't think he ever crossed 150 more than the one occasion. He had a by runner for the best part of the innings which made his job easier. Stupid Azharuddin for allowing him a runner.
