Mr. Wicket
Had set up my winamp a long time ago to do this for streams/video. Had to reformat and now am back to square one with no ****ing clue. Help? Anyone? (ICF$ and EMC's eternal gratitude in return)
Sachinism
Don't know if this will help, but download the x264 codec and install it. Winamp should naturally be able to handle nsv streams. Maybe that'll work I remember the days of nsv cricket streams, god how terrible they were in terms of quality
Mr. Wicket
Had it installed... fiddling around still, just installed the ffdshow codecs - maybe a hint of progress? (Rajiv if you see this please PM me asap)
EnterTheVoid
My suggestions: 1. Download NSV codec from [http://www.nullsoft.com/nsv/]; the last link or 2. Download the latest version of VLC / Winamp or 3. Download "K - multi media player" (free) which supports the NSV, Nullsoft Streaming Video format
Cricketics
Salil, download one of those K-Lite package.. it comes with the winamp installation itself plus all the codec.. Don't leave a single codec. Just do the formality of hitting next next on each software, and install the whole package.. Once k-lite is installed on your pc, even players like windows media player would start playing different types of video files which they weren't playing before. VLC player doesn't need any codec. It will play the .VOB files and other crazy high defination files without any need of klite. If you trying to use one of those nsv streams website, then uninstall your winamp and download from their package.. and install each and every thing. It should work fine. SOmetimes streams also get stuck at 99%, that won't happen either if you download each and every codec from their package.
DomainK
Yup, Klite should be the answer. Look in download.com.
