India has the worst economy rate in bowling in world cricket. 5.29 RPO. SA, Australia, SL even NZ has got less than 5 runs per over average. India is allowing opposition to score 264 every match on an average.
cowboysfan Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 we are not winning any matches because of our bowling.we just need them to hold the fort down.the sad part is that none of the current medium pacers bowl a correct line and length,NONE.

India is allowing opposition to score 264 every match on an average. vvvs That stat can be misleading though since we play nearly 50% of the games where 270 is a par score and can be chased down with ease. Can you query the db with matches played away from home, ie Non India Games?
vvvslaxman Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 On a flat pitch these guys get brutally exposed.
vvvslaxman Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=2;filter=advanced;home_or_away=2;home_or_away=3;orderby=runs_per_over;orderbyad=reverse;spanmax1=31+Dec+2009;spanmin1=01+Jan+2007;spanval1=span;team_view=bowl;template=results;type=team Away and Neutral - 5.15 runs per over. Still it is above 5.
vvvslaxman Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Mishra is a good bowler. But Ojha is better suited for ODIs than Mishra. I think Yuvraj's improvement as a left armer has prompted them to leave out Ojha.
