No bowling attack deserves a mention in current ODI teams

We are blaming the indian bowlers for their poor show.. honestly looking at the current teams , no teams have a good bowling unit . instances. SA was said to have a great attack , they conceded a lot against SL and lost . same with SL today, NZ raked up 300 +.Pak seamers took a beating yest against India. if the batting wickets are so good... everyone goes for runs.. no point in blaming our bowlers.. A pitch like in wanderers.. even our bowlers have a great chance to impress.

But there is an air of predictability about our team. Other teams are slightly more consistent. But on a seamer friendly surface our attack is as good as any attack. On patta pitches we are hopeless. Not a single bowler is reliable.

In other teams atleast one or two bowlers are reliable. In a crunch situation you can call them. In our team you will scratch your brain and do a lottery pick in crunch situations. Any bowler can be tonked around.

The fact that other seamers aren't performing well shouldn't absolve our seamers. in particular RP Singh needs to be dropped. The guy can't maintain one line for 2 deliveries.

^ He did well yesterday. Granted..not his best day..but to conceed less than 5 rpo on that wicket was commendable. Nehra was obviously the pick of the bowlers from both sides.

that's true.. they should be consistent with their line and length's .. but since pitches are so good. variations are the key . team which understands this will succeed. atleast they dint bowl no balls like pakistan's . :omg: i realised yest for the first time how the new free hit rule can hurt a team.

i agree... stop blaming pacers for everything.. against pak they got 3 early wickets on dead pitch.. then malik and yoyo played safe.. and at the end, they got treatement in power play.. they getting lot of firing for nothing..

yes the seamers did the job by picking 3 early wickets . any team will take that . but the spinners dint do their job.. one of those days when some things don't go as planned.

just bcos pak won . they need not be ignorant to the issues they have .. its better to analyse now itself instead of being complacent. the pace attack is nothing to be mentioned of. bowling so many no balls and so much short .. i would say bowlers from both sides bowled crap ..

agree if we had bowled last night under lights with 300 on the board our bowlers would have looked lethal as well

Another excuse for out pathetic indian bowling. First it was slow speed guns then slow pitches then busy schedule now because few other teams conceded 300+ runs its okay for our slowpokes to get smacked around. Pakistani bowling was indiscipline but far better than ours. Aamer was fast and furious, Rana bowled some decent yorkers too. I wont compare spinners cause bhajji is far better than ajmal and afridi combined. We cant expect miracles from bhajji in every game especially with RP on the end bowling at the same pace.

Didnt happen against SL in compaq cup final, bar spinners.
