patriot
...if Aussie innings is terminated at this point 234/4 in 42.3 overs . Any one with D/L table ? Link to comment
Shehezaada
http://www.duckworth-lewis.com/CalculatorforT20ODI/tabid/56/language/en-US/Default.aspx according to this...somewhere in the 160-165 range. This game reminds me of the one in 2006 at KL. Aussies posted a good total, and then rain came...we started off well but then lost 4 wickets, then the rain came and saved us again! Link to comment
Sachinism
Someone work out the total for 50 overs and then we can work back as we lose more overs Link to comment
patriot
With 10 wickets in hand 160 ish in 20 overs - it should be gettable. Hopefully someone will play a match winning blinder like that English guy did yesterday. Link to comment
patriot
Now how we wish Yousuf Pathan was in the XI..he couldnt have done worse than Ishant --- and he's a 20 over specialist. Link to comment
The Outsider
Any truncated target will favor India because we are one batsman short. There was no way in hell we were going to chase down 300 with 6 batsmen - 160 off 20 overs is very possible with the likes of Tendulkar, Gambhir, and Raina and 8 power play overs. Link to comment
Dinx - the Jinx
Now how we wish Yousuf Pathan was in the XI..he couldnt have done worse than Ishant --- and he's a 20 over specialist. can we have the super sub rule :--D Link to comment
vvvslaxman
will be an interesting chase. Link to comment
Celeste
can we have the super sub rule :--D ICC should re introduce this rule in 20/20s. Link to comment
Zelig
If Australia's innings ends now' date=' India's target in 42 overs is 263. If its reduced to 20 overs then 153[/quote'] Link to comment
Shehezaada
we can definitely do 153...a good opening stand and we'll be through. Link to comment
Dinx - the Jinx
till wat time should it rain so that we play only 20 oves? Link to comment
Desi Cartman
SRT will refuse to bat since he has retired from 20-20 Int cricket Link to comment
The Outsider
If Australia do not bat again then India to win will need : 1. 172 off 20 overs 2. 202 off 25 overs 3. 228 off 30 overs 4. 247 off 35 overs 5. 262 off 40 overs 6. 276 off 45 overs 7. 288 off 50 overs. Link to comment
patriot
The way its pouring ..we would be lucky to complete a game. 153 in 20 overs with 10 wickets in hand - a semi-final spot at stake. Bhagwan is trying to help us ..unless we decide to **** ourselves, we should get over this. Link to comment

patriot
till wat time should it rain so that we play only 20 oves? I think its the match referees call. 172/20 overs as Shwetabh put it sounds daunting never the less - espeically without Yousuf Pathan. Link to comment
Zelig
WTF? CI has deleted that D/L target score. Maybe it is not 153:dontknow: Link to comment
