As according to you, he is on par with IP, RPS and currently he is better than them as he is performing well for India. IS, Munaf, Sree they probably will the ones fighting for the 4th bowling spot in our team. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
ALmost all bowlers are of same class. But when he gets going Nehra can be unplayable and he can run through a side something you can't say about Munna bhai, Ishant. Link to comment

Lord
some awful figures by our seamers I think its more due to the pitches most bowlers have struggled this is the figures of ALL pacers in last two yrs in India.some r better but there r guys like Steyn,Kulsakera who r much worse http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?bowling_pacespin=1;class=2;filter=advanced;host=6;orderby=bowling_average;qualmin1=1;qualval1=matches;spanmin1=01+Jan+2009;spanval1=span;template=results;type=bowling Link to comment

They might be Zaheer Khan and Praveen kumar. Then why team need Nehra? Another player who can do equally or better than Nehra and having some batting skill will be right choice. Link to comment

sudheer kumar
Praveen has an avg n S/R of 55 on Indian pitches in last 2 yrs Team won't lose him. He bowls well with new ball. Batsmen smashed him in slog overs. I think that effected on his avg Link to comment
someone
Team won't lose him. He bowls well with new ball. Batsmen smashed him in slog overs. I think that effected on his avg Yep exactly. Compare him with Nehra, who bowls when the opponents are 9 down and still produces that kind of averages. Right?? Pretty odd that you are defending PK with the logic when that same logic can be used for AN as well. And one more fact, IP is not a better bowler than AN, no matter how much you try to persuade. sudheer kumar
Please first answer the first part.... Dhoni changed already. PK don't bowl in slog overs......... He is completing his 8overs in his first spell Another two will in mid 30-40 overs. Nehra never picked up wicket of Mills...or any other lower order batsmen in Ind vs NZ match. Munaf picked up lower order batsmen. If no support from pitch...........Nehra is below average bowler. Link to comment

And you still have not answered the question!!! First you say PK is a opening bowler and bowls in the death bowler, but according to you, this is reason he has high average but it does not matter for you. Now you say things differently for AN, he has high averages and so that makes him very bad. AN bowls at the opening and the death and does that very well. You are using a very childish and stupid rebuttal. You think trying to switch the topics and some long crap will help you win?? The amount of times you contradict yourself is very shocking. I am saying all the facts............. And Nehra taking wickets only through luck........... He is a poor fielder too...........dropping so many catches in other pacers bowling Many good catches are converted as Nehra's wickets.......... PK has avg of 55..........in last two years But he played only 10 ODIs............If he played 25-30 ODIs his stats will different. Link to comment

You still have not answered the question and so have yet to defend yourself. Your first point and third point about AN is very hilarious if anything:hysterical:. I have not seen Nehra dropping so many catches as you mentioned. He of course is not a brilliant fielding but he at least he can still do it decently. And again you have done a contradiction as the same line could be used for AN. Maybe time for you to stop visiting this thread as you are very clueless atm. Link to comment
