Sachinism Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 With all the dollars he made in CL' date='this was bound to happen:hysterical:[/quote'] More bad press on the way for T20 cricket lol Big blow or massive blow to Oz?
gaurav92 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 :yay: India can win this series then, odds will go in favour of india in that way.Shane be generous and dont change the odds for the rest of the series and keep it up to 9/10 or min. 4/5
Cricketics Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Man I don't like this. I would have wanted India to win in the pressence of B.Lee in Australian team. It sucks.
SachDan Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 White-washing India 7-0 :hehe: Now lots of time to whitewash his home in NSW himself :hysterical:
SachDan Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 On a serious note Australia will miss him big time.
champ Posted October 30, 2009 Author Posted October 30, 2009 :yay: India can win this series then' date=' odds will go in favour of india in that way.Shane be generous and dont change the odds for the rest of the series and keep it up to 9/10 or min. 4/5 [/quote'] why u guys are so excited about winning some crap series .. we will never get credit for winning this series .. i was only looking out for competition in this series since top teams were playing .. i hope the series lives up to that ..
spectre Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 No big deal, We dont have Zak, they dont have Lee now, even stevens anyway he is not much of a threat hope the aussies dont come out whining
Sachinism Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 No big deal, We dont have Zak, they dont have Lee now, even stevens anyway he is not much of a threat hope the aussies dont come out whining Yeh right, like thats gonna happen
CricketGirl Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Man I don't like this. I would have wanted India to win in the pressence of B.Lee in Australian team. It sucks. yeah i agree that would make our win even sweeter!! :P
punjabi_khota Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Thats unfortunate. He cameback from injury play ashes, missed the Ashes and now this.
Params7 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Aus play Windies and Pak and then T20 World Cup right after this series without any breaks. We might see a completely new Aussie side with a new captain by the time they play NZ next year if they keep this up.
Jersey #10 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 yeah i agree that would make our win even sweeter!! :P That's only if we had really won against OZ in presence of Lee Lee would have restricted atleast 10-15 runs per match along with 2-3 important wickets sending India on the back foot.... Now no Lee no fear :eyedance::eyedance::eyedance:
Bradman99 Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I don't think India will get much credit if they win the series, which they surely will now, because Aussies side is so significantly weakened.
satishg Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I don't think India will get much credit if they win the series' date=' which they surely will now, because Aussies side is so significantly weakened.[/quote'] well i think a full strength Indian squad which we had in the 2nd match (except Zaheer ofcourse) is much better than Aussies with Lee in the squad. Anyway its my opinion, just wanted to say that although the absence of Lee would hurt Australia but it really wouldnt have mattered that much against a strong Indian side in the sub-continent.
yoda Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 Handling injuries is part of getting your team prepared. Anyways when they have player of the year Mitchell Johnson, who needs Lee? :winky:
Mamu Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I don't think India will get much credit if they win the series' date=' which they surely will now, because Aussies side is so significantly weakened.[/quote'] India's nemesis are Ponting, Hussey and Watson and all 3 of those guys are fit and ready I should also add Johnson (I know he has not done anything, but I have a feeling he is ready to deliver). Lee has never been a big threat to India.
Desi Cartman Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I don't think India will get much credit if they win the series' date=' which they surely will now, because Aussies side is so significantly weakened.[/quote'] You mean Aus shouldn't get credit for winning the first ODI since Zaheer and Yuvraj were not playing ? :dontknow:
Params7 Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 You mean Aus shouldn't get credit for winning the first ODI since Zaheer and Yuvraj were not playing ? :dontknow: :giggle:
Celeste Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 You mean Aus shouldn't get credit for winning the first ODI since Zaheer and Yuvraj were not playing ? :dontknow: Zaheer averages almost 50 against Aussies while Yuvi averages in mid 20s against them. Lee has never been a big threat to India. Really?? Lee bowling averages against India is 20.70.
