Deleted_User_1 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 ..........only after the home series in early 2012. The WC does not seem a good venue. 2010 will be a lacklustre year for tests, but 2011 is packed with tours to WI, Eng and Aus. It would be nice to see him on those tours and then finish it up with a home series against our arch nemesis at home. He can retire from ODIs after the WC 2011. What do you guys thinks?
DomainK Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Buy should he retire then? Any good reason?:idontknow:
vvvslaxman Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Don't think he will retire until Ponting retires. He is untouchable in one dayers. If he focusses just on Tests he can last as long as Punter will . Don't really care for records. But i cannot tolerate any record going to Punter.
Lord Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 i was ready with all gaalis n swears wen i saw the title. i'm cool now
King Tendulkar Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I am convinced he will play till he is at least 45. He is the new WG Grace!
Deleted_User_1 Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 I am convinced he will play till he is at least 45. He is the new WG Grace! 45???? Are you nuts!! It is VERY important he goes out on top. I am sure that is a big priority for him. Champions go out on top. Look at his mentor SMG.
satishg Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 i think he will play atleast till 2012. After that it depends on what he has set his mind on and what records he would like to break and stuff!
Jersey #10 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I think he will play till December 21, 2012! Every one knows what's going to happen on that day right? :nervous:

Look at his mentor SMG. Been 10 years people are worried that he should retire while on top. He is only getting better and better.
lonestarranger Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Honestly, I don't think the SRT juggernaut is gonna roll till 2012. (and I hope SRT himself would agree on this). Practically, I guess by around 2011 mid, he'd probably hang up his boots.

Look at his mentor SMG. He has been on top for 20 years. I believe he can go on for another 10 years even. He is a cricket god. Whats all this go out on top rubbish. If he is piling on the runs then carry on I say! No one really remebers the last game/series of a player, they remember the carrer, especially when you have had a carrer as great as The little masters
gult Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 I think, If we win the WC 2011 he will retire immediately.
fuub Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Do you think sachin would trade all his records to have a world cup victory instead
Nova Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Do you think sachin would trade all his records to have a world cup victory instead NO. India will have other chances to win a world cup, but having records like SRT is one in a lifetime chance.
DomainK Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Do you think sachin would trade all his records to have a world cup victory instead Why ask such hypothetical questions?
Nova Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Why ask such hypothetical questions? He wants to know if Sachin is selfish.
Lord Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Do you think sachin would trade all his records to have a world cup victory instead definitely
DomainK Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 He wants to know if Sachin is selfish. Stupid way of knowing. A forummer asks a question to other forummers and that decides whether Sachin is selfish. I fail to see the logic.
Nova Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 I fail to see the logic behind the question. Fuub go ask your question to SRT directly.
