Pioneer Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Laxman S: " Those singles aren't going to hurt them at the moment "
Zap_Brannigan Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 It was good that Australia lost. Otherwise, "Australianism" would have become one and we would have to bear that for a very long time like the Pakis "Cornered tiger" meme
ZodiaC Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Wow.. You guys got em all.. :cantstop: Dhoni - "You know....." Another one is "the baays..." I think that one's used mostly by Ind and Pak..:--D
f.b.m Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Some of the Shastri'isms seem to ring in my head long after any cricket has been played :wall: "that was a tentative poke" "Good thing is that there were no half measures"
Aaku Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 For Indians every answer starts with ' Yeah Definitely...' :headshake:
sangrock Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Dhoni - "... but its part and parcel of the game..."
nballa Posted May 18, 2010 Author Posted May 18, 2010 rameez - 'their partnership hurt pakistan quite badly'
punjabi_khota Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 The head needs to be still ...blah blah blah...
Serani Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 There are so many annoying sayings in club cricket in Uk, after a team wins they will always say "good luck in the season lads" to the losers despite probably wanting the team to get relegated or do badly. Literally on saturday after a thriller when we sitting in the dressing room after a close loss around half the opposition poked their heads in and said "good luck for the season lads" with some kind of filthy smug on their face. Makes me sick. Another is "drinks bring wickets" I mean seriously, this never usually works but when it occasionally does happen that a batter gets out the over after drinks the player that says "drinks bring wickets" usually starts screaming like a mad man, "I told you, drinks bring wickets" Its too much for me to handle at times.
goose Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Ramiz Raja at the start of every session in a test match - 'this next session is crucial to both sides'.
WeStMiDz Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 LSRK : Prrrrresssssssssting the FULLLL face of the bat :banghead: Haha this is definitely one we hear all the time.
Karan114 Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 Some of the Shastri'isms seem to ring in my head long after any cricket has been played :wall: "that was a tentative poke" "Good thing is that there were no half measures" Shastri ''welcome boundary''. "One just gets the feeling...that in this situation..." "That went like a tracer bullet..."
panesarv Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 "And Akmal dropped another one." :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
f.b.m Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 "Next session will decide where the match is heading" :wall: I've been hearing this every session this match. No ****! In a low scoring match you wont get a session that doesn't decide the match do you!
