EnterTheVoid Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Very conveniently you bury the "offensive" part of that statement under the carpet. Job well done. That was after Sydney. A lot of offensive comments were made, either way. We all know how great SRT is but we're not talking about his modesty here. We are talking about the cheap antics used by your heroes. Any comment, esp on Clarke's behavior. Why does everything they do always under suspicion ? Anyway, I am not going to comment on Clarke as I don't think much of him or his antics
Mr. Wicket Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Why does everything they do always under suspicion ? Is this a rhetorical question or are you seriously unaware of Australia's track record recently for excessive gamesmanship, attempts to manipulate and put pressure on umpires and the off-field behaviour of various players, particularly 'seniors' like Ponting and Hayden and others like Clarke and Symonds?
Sachinism Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Would you be saying the same thing if an Australian fan said that about an Indian batsman who retired hurt ? The Aussies tried that on 2 occasions. Once Ganguly spanked them for 144 and the next time the career of the next best thing was brought to an end
The Outsider Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 The Aussies tried that on 2 occasions. Once Ganguly spanked them for 144 and the next time the career of the next best thing was brought to an end What about the chin music that Johnson was talking about last year ---- aah it's all banter if the Aussies do it.:hysterical:
Mr. Wicket Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 What about Hayden challenging a guy who he had about a 50+ pounds advantage on to a boxing match?
Sachinism Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 I think he had a lot more than 50 pounds on him. Ishant is like half his size
Celeste Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 OZ doing what they do best when things don't go their way. :whine: In b4 sree_israel fixed
Guest Hiten. Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 What about Hayden challenging a guy who he had about a 50+ pounds advantage on to a boxing match? Do you not understand the concept of "pre match banter". It was all in good spirit mate :--D
Dinx - the Jinx Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 OZ doing what they do best when things don't go their way. :whine: In b4 sree_oz :hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff: Quote of the week gentleman... I think Sree is trying his best these days to get his citizenship there.. and trying to earn brownie points by supporting Oz.. good luck to him...
Dinx - the Jinx Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 I give Watson plenty of credit for proving me wrong - after all my criticisms of him 4-5 years ago saying he wouldn't amount to anything at the int'l level and was a never-will-be... but the man is still a fu cking softco ck, and one of the biggest pu ssies I've ever seen in the game in almost 20 years. Seriously... Watto, you're a fuc king wimp who got scared in the 2005 Ashes because you thought ghosts were coming into your hotel room and whined, then just a week or so ago you were just barely holding back tears to the media when you were saying "it was the most shattered [you'd] been" all because you missed a hundred. Jesus christ. Guys like Tendulkar, Waugh, Border, Dravid and co. have been there plenty of times, sometimes sawn off due to bad umpiring decisions, and they learned to take it - and a LOT more - on the chin without breaking into sobs and reaching for their hankies the moment they were asked about it. Grow a set of fuc king balls, you softco ck. Allan Border played for this team 2-3 decades before you did, took on some of the nastiest quick bowlers ever and through the 1980s was outscoring the likes of IVAR, Miandad and Gavaskar. Steve Waugh was fighting it out against England 8 years back on ONE LEG (with a hole torn in the calf muscle of his other leg) and scoring a ton. Mark Taylor, David Boon, Dean Jones and plenty of others built a reputation as Aussie players who could be hit with damn near anything, and could stay standing and keep fighting away. And Watto? You, you're a fuc king pus sy who just whines away about the ghosts and the boogeyman in your bedroom, the fact that the selectors weren't watching when you scored that magnificent hundred for Queensland and the fact that Kemar Roach is bowling near 150 kmh and will happily knock your captain's head off if given a chance. Even if you're averaging 45 as an opener and scoring 50+ on most occasions when you go out there, you're still a whiny buntbag (thanks brigade), and an embarrassment to the type of player that Border and Waugh moulded under their leadership. As for Roach bowling quickly and aggressively, I just wish his accuracy was just a bit better so he could find your mouth one of these occasions and make sure we didn't have to listen to your whining, bit ching and moaning for some time. You p ussy. Nice one Mr. Wicked.. nicely dished out... hope someone finds watson's email id and send this to him..

You p ussy. a lot of team would have love to have watson at 6 in test cricket... Especially india in place of poor yuvraj, and that would have balanced your team well... They guy just won ICC champions trophy for his team plus indian series in india and now is doing well in test matches also....
EnterTheVoid Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Well' date=' hope he hits Pwnting again - that is, if Pwnting doesn't chicken out of batting once again[/quote'] Tait's comments were said BEFORE the match; The above was said AFTER the match, after someone got hurt, in the hope that they get hurt again. Moreover, people seem to be celebrating his injury - weak, offensive and tasteless Is this a rhetorical question or are you seriously unaware of Australia's track record recently for excessive gamesmanship' date=' attempts to manipulate and put pressure on umpires and the off-field behaviour of various players, particularly 'seniors' like Ponting and Hayden and others like Clarke and Symonds?[/quote'] So everytime something goes wrong, even if it is a honest mistake, everything is surrounded under a cloud of suspicion because of what someone from their team did sometime ago ?
graphic23 Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Hey sree, check out post #14 by Gambit in this thread, and can you respond to Mitchell Johnson's comments, please?
triam Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 lol sree, what ever every other country has done against the spirit of the sport in the last 10 years or so pales in comparison with what OZ has done as a single team. So , please give up defending OZ on moral grounds. Watto shud watch the series S.Waugh played against Ambrose and Walsh, because he cudnt duck their short balls, he kept showing his chest with his bat dropped down to take the bouncers on his chest, and went on to hit a century.

Dinx - the Jinx Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 i'm getting sick of sree_india blindly defending everything aussie...
99.94 Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 I give Watson plenty of credit for proving me wrong .... Rofl. Ahh man I just live for Mr. Wicket's rants.. But I agree wholeheartedly. Watson doesn't have enough ticker to score test match hundreds but unfortunately the selectors have a thing for all rounders (thankyou Mr. Flintoff), so I best get used to his face in the test team I guess. Can't be long 'til he breaks down though.
