For my money, Australia is going to win this test

1st innings is an aberration, I don't expect Pakistan to capitalize on the first innings collapse. For them to have a chance of winning this test, they need a lead of some 100 runs, minimum. Granted, there is plenty of time but do you see their shytty batting surviving on this green sponge of a wicket ? Australian bowlers, in swinging conditions, are amongst the best in the business, poyzzz don't stand a chance. Your predictions please.

Pakistan sure has an edge now, but I won't still write off the Aussies. They are very professional cricketers and they would already be chalking out a plan and will execute it with ruthless perfection. Pakistan's batting- especially in Australia is very bad. They are an unstable lot and they lack cohesion, professionalism and skill. Australia can come back into this match in a big way. However, if this pitch eases up now, Pakistan has a great opportunity of doing the impossible.

Australia still the favs by me .. will come out firing on all cylinders tomorrow. Pakistan have 2 wicket taking seamers in Asif & Sami, Australia have 4 against this batting line up. That is going to matter in the next 2-3 days.

I actually expect Pakistan will take a lead of about 120-130, Australia will comeback strongly in the 2nd Inngs and get 350+ giving Pakistan a target of 200+ in the 4th Inngs and like has happened plenty of times in the last year we'll collapse. Hopefully not though.

Remembered the series loss to Lanka only a handful of months ago ? If they collapse of flat, patta wickets, what hope do they have on seaming, bowler friendly wickets ? Forgot doing it against a top team, they CHOKED against a bunch of part timers. Remember, it was only in the last test, people were harbouring hopes of miracle, claiming that Pakistan could score 250 in the last day and take an unlikely lead. The match was done, dusted and buried by lunchtime. The same will happen in this test.

That is austalia' second lowest total in an first innings of a test match in the decade, and ven morre... In the dacade australia have scored under 200 in th fist innings of a test match only 3 times.... one is a 190 agaisnt england... So indeed it' s a brilliant performance....

Bottom Line: For ten years you've tried, for ten years you have failed. This is as good as an opportunity you will get for another 100 years, considering Aus wont be touring Pak anytime soon, but you just don't have it in you to win. Considering your recent performances against TEST teams that are far, far poorer than the team you are facing, I feel relatively comfortable with my predictions. Any comments on your team's ability to survive on seaming wickets ? The last time I checked, they got beaten by Ireland.
