Afridi is also 4 years older than what cricinfo says. Umar Akmal recently said to the press that he is 21 not 19. All the age related records held by Pakistan should be scrapped. It is bogus.

Guys who come from poor backgrounds never really have a record of their real age, i.e, birth certificates....so not their fault.. Shib Paul from India is supposed to be 28 but looks 40! Seriously, check on cricinfo lol (can't post a link unfortunately) So the problem is not only in Pak...im sure there are many Indian cricketers who don't even know their real age!
