Texy Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 It's a half-inch thick—just a hair thicker than the iPhone, for reference—and weighs 1.5 pounds. It's powered by a 1GHz Apple A4 chip, and has 16GB to 64GB of flash storage. From the looks of it, Apple finally got some use out of that PA Semi purchase, and built their own mobile processor. It's also loaded with 802.11 n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a 30-pin connector, a speaker, a microphone, an accelerometer and a compass.

Ram Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Tablet PCs are nothing new, but they've really taken off. Except that now, they're smaller, faster, with a better interface and Wifi/3G Connectivity. Will they work this time around with the customer? P.S; Nice to Jobs back at the forefront of things! :yay:
Aditi Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 *sigh* "iPad"? Really?! Yet another reason why Tech companies need more women.

ViruRulez Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I saw it in the news today. It looks like a kindle but I dont think it can even compete with the kindle in price. The kindle and all their accessories are a lot cheaper than iPAD. And it looks a lot better IMO. http://astore.amazon.com/buy.wireless-kindle-20
